In 1994, RTO Pro Software was incorporated as FutureWare Enterprises, Inc. and acquired a Curtis Mathes Home Entertainment Center in Zephyrhills, Florida. This served not only as an additional source of income but also as a valuable testing ground for our software.
The company store was sold in 2004; however, the experience gained from running our own store—combined with the founder and president’s prior 10 years of RTO industry experience—makes RTO Pro uniquely qualified to deliver software tailored to the needs of this industry. We believe that our firsthand knowledge of the rental business, along with years of testing and refining our software in a real store environment, has resulted in a solution that is advanced, intuitive, and exceptionally well-suited for rental operations.
For years, RTO Pro has offered features that other providers are only now beginning to introduce, such as on-screen account management, automated voice broadcasting (autodialing), SMS texting services, web payments, support for both small receipt printers and laser-printed contracts and forms, integrated credit card processing, and integrated ACH. We continually enhance our software with new features, most of which are developed in direct response to requests from our users.
